How It Works
A storm drops a foot overnight. You're out before dawn in single digits, clearing it so you can get down the hill — and by the afternoon the wind has drifted the driveway back in. Three days later it happens again.
That's the winter you're buying your way out of. Our customers pay once, in the fall, and then stop thinking about it. It snows, we come, the driveway is open.
Getting Set Up
Four steps, and three of them are ours.
1 · You Ask
Send us your address through the quote form. If you're not sure whether we run your street, send it anyway — there's a map of the streets we cover on that page, and we'll confirm either way.
2 · We Come Look
We visit the property and quote it for the season, then email you the price. Nothing is automated and nothing is a package — we'd rather see the driveway than guess at it.
3 · You Sign and Pay
Your contract and invoice arrive together in one link. Sign digitally and pay by card or bank transfer, from a phone or a computer. Prefer paper? We'll mail you a contract instead.
4 · We Stake the Driveway
Before the season we set fiberglass stakes along the edges of your driveway and pull them in the spring. They're how the operator knows where the pavement ends in a whiteout.
Then We Handle the Winter
What Sets Us in Motion
Four inches. A route activates when our reference site, at roughly 5,920 feet, indicates 4 inches of new natural snowfall for the surrounding area. You don't need to call, and you don't need to ask.
How Often
As often as it takes. There's no cap on the number of services in a season — if it snows 4 inches or more, we're out, however many times that happens between November 1st and April 30th.
When We Get There
The contract commits us to 24 hours from the time a route activates, but we're usually there well before that — we aim for about six. We try to run routes overnight so driveways are clear before people need to leave in the morning, though a big storm doesn't always allow it.
What We Run
Small municipal sidewalk tractors with purpose-built snowblower attachments, built for Sierra snow. They're highly maneuverable and go easy on the driving surface.
What's Covered
Your driveway, inside the staked area, for the whole season.
Not included: hand work, so walkways, steps, and decks are outside the service. Also sanding, salting, and ice control; roof snow and roof shedding; and wind drifts.
